Pause a customer
Search anyone in QuickBooks — they don't need an open estimate. Pausing stops the automatic follow-up emails to that customer for the number of days you choose. Their estimates and invoices stay exactly where they are, and you can still email or call them yourself at any time.

What sends automatically

Why some say “not yet connected”: a pause is recorded in one place, but each system has to be
taught to check it before it sends. The estimate reminders check it today. The rest are on the list —
until then, pausing a customer will not stop those particular emails, and this page will keep saying so
rather than letting you think it did.
